This is a translation of the Portuguese policy. If the two versions differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Data controller
JP Systems is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. For any question about your data, contact us at geral@jp-systems.pt.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily give us through the site's forms — name, email address, phone number (optional), your product's website or name (optional), the message you send us and, if you choose to tell us, how you found us — and also, automatically and together with the request, where the visit came from: the page where you entered the site, the domain you came from and any campaign parameters (UTM).
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your data only to answer your contact, quote or proposal requests. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing. The visit's origin is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how clients find us, and is kept with the request: in the email and in our customer relationship management system (CRM).
4. Retention period
Form data is received by email and recorded in our CRM, and is kept only for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, after which it is deleted.
5. Cookies and traffic analytics
We use a traffic analytics tool hosted on our own servers that sets no cookies and collects no identifiable personal data. In addition, only with your express consent (through the cookie notice), we enable Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) for statistical analysis. It sets cookies (_ga) and Google may process the data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can decline without any impact on your use of the site, and withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. If you accept, we also keep the visit's origin in your browser's session storage (deleted when you close the tab); if you decline, it stays only in the page's memory.
6. Processors
To run the site we rely on hosting, email and customer relationship management (CRM) providers, which process data strictly on our instructions and with the safeguards required by the GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at geral@jp-systems.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD, the Portuguese data protection authority (cnpd.pt).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted communication (HTTPS) and restricted access to information.
